Galaxy A35 vs Galaxy A54...but which one?

I have seen videos showing the A35 having slightly better photos and video recording quality than the A54 despite the two having the same chipset.

I wanted to ask if there has really been improvements of the A35 in the cameras and general performance department than the older A54?

Is the A35 a better and practical "investment" than A54?

I'm a bit short of money. So, It's still up for my choice between the A35 and the A54.

Which one to get? The GSMArena and some bloke here in the UK compared them and seemingly to suggest A35 has better photos and videos but the A54 has eSIM and HDR support. 

I could be wrong. Is there anything else I'm missing?

I haven't used the a54, but am impressed by the a35. Being the newer device you would get an additional year of software support.

I'm sure you would be happy with either, might be over thinking it.

But having to watch/re-watch those comparison videos i wonder why Samsung decided...

Not to allow 4K recording in the A35's ultrawide and No HDR support despite same chipset with the A54. 

Yes I could get another year of software support but Samsung tend to change their mind a lot. 

If only the A35 charging speeds are a bit faster. At least 33w or faster. It's that very annoying / frustrating aspect of the phone. Would you agree?

A 4K 30/60 recording on the main and ultrawide and being able to switch between them on the fly (which i don't normally do but may be an advantage) is a plus for me.

I'm also realising just now that the A55 is slightly smaller in dimensions than the A35 but a bit heavier which doesn't sit well with me.

My ultimate Samsung phone would still be an S23+. The base S23 is a tad small for me.

BTW, the new Moto Edge 50 Neo and base Edge 5G has just been announced and the specs looks very promising. Tho for now a bit pricey for me.
