I bought a Galaxy A14 for my daugther, installed family link and linked her google account to my google family account. But now I'm not able to select any biometric unlocking. Both options are greyed out.
I've tried going back to factory settings. Added my fingerprint and that worked, but as soon as I add the google account of my daugther it disables again.
I also tried this: new-galaxy-s21-with-family-link-installed-won-t-allow-for-finger-print-unlock
But that doesn't work either.
How can I fix this problem?

This does seem to be a known issue with this @hjbaard
A Google Search brought many hits on this subject.
One such hit is on Reddit here > https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS21/comments/qwzbft/problems_with_google_family_link_and_fingerprint/
Looks like some did find a solution but this didn't work for everyone.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512Gb in Phantom Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I found that one too, but it isn't working for this phone/android version. I think the only solution is to remove Family Link and try a different parental control app. Voor example Safe Lagoon Parental Control.

Unfortunately, this didn't help. I read somewhere that this work-around was not working anymore on newer android versions/updates.

I was having the same issue with my kid's phone and tried everything else on the internet I could find. I was looking at it again the other day and got frustrated with it and started spamming the fingerprint toggle in the "Screen lock type" menu and, to my amazement, it asked for the parental password and unlocked the option. !
Give that a try?
