Is ther any way I can turn off or turn down the shutter noise when taking a picture? I have pet rats and when I take there picture it sometimes mkes them jump because its quite loud.....

We no longer have the option to turn off sound in camera app. But you can turn down system sounds.

 Do not think I would fancy pet rats, hopefully adjusting the settings mentioned makes a difference though.

Setting System Sounds to zero will have the desired effect.

How ridiculous is that? It's a horrible noise and if you turn down the system sound, you won't hear notifications for other important system issues. Unbelievable.

Will thus be fixed in an update? I'm nuerodiverse and cannot handle the sound. It makes me physically sick. Will never buy another Samsung if this is standard.

How is that a solution? I need to disable all sounds not to make a noise when taking a picture? I will be returning the device because of this.

You set up a procedure If app is open: camera then switch to do not disturb. After that it automatically goes back to the previous setting
