Hi,
I have just scanned a QR code to download an assumed ok PDF file, but am now having problems with my phone.
I am unable to switch phone off. Unable to uninstall the QR app. Unable to conduct virus scan. Unable to conduct a reset.
Each time I try the above, the phone default to my home page.
Any advice on how I can fix this virus?

When I hold down the power/side button, the screen goes blank then defaults to my home screen. The Power Down logo does not show on screen any more 😞

If your phone isn't allowing a factory reset then can you get into Safe Mode ? https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ will help to highlight if an app or theme etc is potentially causing issues.

I cannot switch phone off. When I hold the button down, the screen goes blank and defaults to my home screen. No Power Off logo is showing. Whenever I try to do anything like reset, uninstall, scan options etc, it will just default to the home screen. Phone, emails, internet seem to be working ok. 😞

OK @Members_9AfQlly please visit a Samsung Experience Store or Service Centre or phone Samsung and see if they can remote access your phone to help.
