Those kind of stickers won't damage the screen, but it's indeed not ideal. When applying the protector after using a normal sticker, you'd have to look closely to make sure that there aren't any glue residues from the sticker, because otherwise you can leave some glue stains behind. That won't damage the screen either and can be easily removed, but because there's a screen protector on they'll have to remove the screen protector to do so. Also, you usually tap a few times to remove every dust particle; really all dust is removed at once. So there's a chance that there's some dust left behind. But both the dust and the stains is not your concern; if that happens you can just go back to the store since it will be obvious that it's underneath the screen protector which means the store clerk did a bad job.
Should you have to go back for a new one, you can give them the tip that next time, some regular tape and tapping with it until no dust is left behind works better than price stickers.
