Hey #GalaxyA56Fam,
Happy to get a hands on experience with A56,
Let's dive into some of the hidden gems and share our best tips to get the absolute most out of your A56.
Camera Magic & AI Superpowers
The A56's camera is a beast, but there's more than meets the eye.
*Auto Trim for Videos: Ever film a lengthy video and despise editing it? The A56's Auto Trim feature saves the day! Automatically extracting the highlights of your videos, it gives you short, sharp, shareable content in a matter of seconds. No more rummaging through hours of clips! Find this in your gallery edit options.
*Best Face for Group Shots: Tired of having someone blink in all of the group shots? Best Face reads each person's face in real time and suggests the most flattering angle, so everyone will appear absolutely stunning. Good riddance to retakes!
*Make Your Own Filters: Go totally unique with your photos! Make Filter scans through your own photos in your gallery to develop personal looks. That is, you can conveniently duplicate the style of your most loved photos.
*Object Eraser Genius: Object Eraser doesn't merely delete objects, it also knows what to delete, so cleanup is plain easy. Discover this in your editing suite of your gallery. No photo bombers...
*AI Select - More Than Cropping: Oh, what an awesome AI tool! Swipe across the sidebar on the right of the screen and select "AI Select." You can tap or circle something on the screen and save it as wallpaper, make a GIF, or even open maps if you select an address! A very handy quick action feature.
* Custom Camera Shortcuts: Never look for your favorite shooting modes buried in menus. In the camera app, swipe across the bottom row of modes, press "More," then "Edit." You can drag any additional modes (like Pro, Night, or Macro) directly into your main shortcut bar for instant access!
Personalization & UI Tweaks
Make your A56 your own with these tweaks.
Dynamic Lock Screen Animations: Need a bit of fun in your unlock experience? Download "Good Lock" in the Galaxy Store. In Good Lock, find and install the "Wonderland" plugin. This allows you to create and use custom lock screen effects and animations.
Personalize Your Keyboard (Good Lock's Keys Cafe): If you love personalized keyboards, have a look at "Keys Cafe" in the Good Lock app. You can personalize your very own keyboard with various effects, colors, and even motion effects for your keys! And you can select personalized typing sounds.
Volume Bar Personalization (Good Lock's Sound Assistant): Another secret gem of Good Lock! Go to "Sound Assistant" and activate it. You can choose from a variety of fresh volume bar designs and colors.
Program Your Side Button: Remap your power button (or "Side Key") to do something besides shut off your screen. Drill into your settings to make a double-press or press-and-hold do something.
Battery & Performance Boosts
Max out your A56's performance and battery life.
Free RAM: If your phone is slowly responding, you can quickly free RAM. Navigate to Settings > Device care > Memory. Wait a few seconds for it to scan, then you can see how much RAM you can free up. You can also deselect apps you don't want to mess around with before tapping on "Clean now."
Keep Your Battery Safe: To get the most out of your battery, attempt to enable the "Charging Limit" feature (usually at 85%). This prevents your battery from being fully charged every time to 100%, and that also reduces degradation with time.
Circle to Search with Google: This is a flagship feature now available on the A56! Just circle, highlight, or tap something or text on your screen and instantly get Google Search results. Very handy for instant searches.
Dual Messenger: Prone to carry two copies of the same messaging app (like WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger) The A56 supports Dual Messenger, which allows you to run two instances of the app simultaneously.
Split Screen & Multi-Window: Multitasking is a breeze. Long-press on an app icon from your recent apps list or app drawer, and then drag the app to the top or bottom of your screen to activate split-screen. You can even force most apps into multi-window mode, although they don't have it natively.
Assist each other in harnessing the full power of this incredible device!
