Emoji search missing

My emoji search option is missing, any ideas?

Below shows the search options for gifs for example..

 .. and below shows the emoji options - the search option was on the far left from memory - interestingly there is a blank space on the far right.

Clear the Samsung keyboard app cache. Settings > apps > samsung keyboard > storage, clear cache at the bottom. Restart your phone. If still missing clear data for samsung keyboard, this will erase all data for samsung keyboard, but you should get your emoji search back.

I have the same problem, I've tried all this but the search button still won't come back!

I am having the same problem since the last update. My emojis do not show on snapchat or instagram using the samsung keyboard but I can see them in text?
