I would love to have a look at this for you. Can you please tell me what Galaxy A Series phone you have and what software version is this currently running on? You can check this from the phone Settings> About phone.
Thanks for the quick response @OdunayoI! I can see that this feature has been replaced. To add a timestamp to a picture you will need to open the Gallery app> Select the image that you would like to add this to> Tap on Edit (represented by a pencil)> Tap on the Smiley face at the bottom right> Stickers> Select the Calendar icon and choose the sticker more suitable for you.
