Chinese phone, UK apps "not available in your area".

Purchased phone when living in China. Now back in the UK and many APPs say not available in your area. Is that something we can work around? Thanks.

Yea i think so @Loobug, so go into your device settings and account user or location - I'm not sure what os your running - and then change it to the UK

In my experience Chinese devices are separate models with no UK firmware available.
