I’m using an Amazon Fire TV Stick connected via HDMI to a Sony TV and to my home broadband by Wi-Fi. I’m using a Saris smart bike trainer linked to the Rouvy app on my Samsung Galaxy A40 phone, running Android 11, and connected to the same home broadband.
We’ve just had fibre to the premises installed and download speeds are over 150mbps for both phone and Fire TV Stick.
I’m using third-party apps to cast the Rouvy screen to the TV, using the mirroring option on the Fire TV Stick. However, the casting stops after 30-45 minutes and the TV screen freezes. After another 5 minutes or so the TV screen shows a network error and the broadband connection is lost.
Any suggestions on how to get continuous casting for over an hour?
