It seems that my phone hasn't been equipped with screen recording capabilities.. which is baffling since this phone came out only a couple of years ago instead of 15, but alas..
i checked the drop-down buttons for one that has anything to do with screen recording but didn't find any (not even screen casting), i made the volume UP + lock button trick and it also didn't work, I went to the settings > advanced features and found that I could only change the screenshot settings (something that other forums alluded to)
so it now seems that my phone has no way to record the screen.. at all....
except........
if i go to a game (any game that "game booster" recognizes) open "game booster" from the drop-down menu, then click on the record icon... it records the screen just fine.. It even records the internal audio which is also baffling considering that the phone isn't even rooted
.. so the phone CAN record it's own screen, it's just that for some reason all the gestures had been barred.
I hope that any of you folks know how to enable the screen-recording gestures and make it capture the screen like it's supposed to, Cause I'm tired of finding a single recording app that DOESN'T record at subpar quality with only the mic as audio while baking in an unnecessary watermark that can only be removed with a monthly premium fee.. I would greately appreciate it.
