Can't enter my phone

My Galaxy phone won't let me enter my lock password. It is asking me to double tap and when I do it enters a different character. For some reason it's decided to speak to me too. If anyone has any tips I would me very grateful.

Try restarting the phone see if it fixes it?

It maybe the accessibility mode has been turned on accidentally and TalkBack mode is active. Try holding down both volume buttons for a few seconds to see if it helps.

I've managed to switch it off and back on again but it's gone back to how it was

It won't let me switch off completely only restart. In order to switch off, It wants me to enter my pass code. I suppose I could always try and find a priest.

I've done it! For some reason the accessibility mode has had the opposite effect and made it difficult for me to enter my phone password due to having to double tap. Long story short, patience and I managed it then turned the accessibility mode off. Thanks to those who replied.
