Do you mean if you have a 5g tariff will the phone provide a 5g connection ?
From https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a12 I cant see it has 5G frequencies in it.
Does it say 5G anywhere on the retail box and if you look in settings , connections, mobile network, network mode does it give a 5G/Lte/3g/2g option.
The preliminary Google searches I've made point to 4G and not 5G models so if the phone does not have 5G out of the box, unfortunately that cant be added via a software update or setting as the phone won't have a 5G built in antenna.
