The camera on my galaxy A51 is not focusing. It was always so good. Its a problem for close up shots...it will not read QR codes any more..see help..I've tried re-setting and cleaning the lens

Try Below

When the camera on your phone is not focussing adequately or focussing at all

clean the lens carefully.

restart your phone.

clear the cache of the camera app.

update the camera app.

Run a scan with device care

@Angeeeee: Is the issue occurring on all aspects (3:4 (48) - 3:4 - 9:16 - 1:1 and Full) and with both lens options (Telephoto and Ultra Wide)? Are you making sure that there is enough light in the scene, and tapping the area of the screen you want to focus on? Have you tried swiping over to More > Macro, and using this feature for your close up shots?
