Camera to open on video

Hi I've got a Samsung galaxy A10.

When I open my camera app it starts on photo. Is there a setting I can select to set it to open on the video section, instead of it opening on photo.

Check if you have 'Settings to keep' in Camera Settings. One of the options in there is Camera mode and when turned on, it allows for the camera to start in the last used mode.

The Samsung galaxy A12 has it, so the 10 should have it too

Please ensure that you have 'Settings to keep' enabled within Camera Settings. Among the choices available there is 'Camera mode', which, when activated, enables the camera to launch in the mode previously utilized.
