Brand new A54, have had it for a week but is this normal?

As I mentioned in the title, I bought this brand new A54 from Tesco Mobiles. It has been amazing, can't fault it. Snappy, battery has been great, the camera really is an improvement over the A52 and A53. Everything about it has been a joy so far.

However, there is one thing about this phone I can't get an answer on. It seems ever since I have owned the phone there has been this slight hint of a smell coming from it from the bottom of the phone. It's very random a lot of the time you can't smell it but every now and then you can get a quick smell of it. It reminds me of a past laptop I had. The smell itself is hard to describe, it doesn't smell like burning, I can't really describe it. If you smell the bottom of the phone close up it's that smell which sometimes can be detected from quite a distance.

Regardless, the phone itself is great, no stuttering, no problems. Is this something I should be concerned about? Can other owners of a new A54 check if they can smell anything?

No issue on my A54. If concerned you should be able to take it back to Tesco mobile for an exchange if it is only a week old.

@nalfylatino: I'm unaware of any wider issues of this nature affecting the Galaxy A54. You may wish to check the USB port or speaker vents for any dirt or debris that might account for the smell you're experiencing, and clear anything you find with a soft bristled brush. For further guidance on cleaning your device, please refer to the steps provided in the link below.

If the issue should persist, then you may wish to reach out to the retailer directly to discuss your options regarding a replacement device. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.
