Bluetooth no sound after upgrade to One UI 6 and Android 14 - A53

The Auto Upgrade to One UI 6.0 and Android 14 happened on my A53 yesterday.  And then, I cannot play any sound on my "Toyota Touch 2 with Go" (Yaris 2015) through Bluetooth anymore today (Spotify Mainly).  It was working good before the upgrade.  I try to connect my wife's IPhone 14 to my "Toyota Touch 2 with Go" with Bluetooth with good result.

I am upset and I cannot play any my playlist anymore at my car.  I will have to drive for 4hours next day........

Any fix??? Any Suggestion???

Have you tried wiping the cache partition after the update. You can also try resetting Bluetooth through settings>general management>reset>reset WiFi and Bluetooth settings. Please note though this will also reset any WiFi settings as well as Bluetooth.

[Zumics]

1. Enable developer mode (this link)

2. Set Bluetooth AVRCP version to 1.3 or 1.4

3. Restart the phone

This solve the problem

Just to confirm from Zumics post you will have to to set AVRCP version 1.3 for it to work 1.4 will still not work.

Genius!  I know this thread is old but it recently happened to me on an A52S and it's been so frustrating.   Initially lost the ability to answer calls (but worked dialing out).  Then it started happening when dialing out too.  Tried everything with no luck.  This worked first time.  Thank you!
