I just got my Samsung Galaxy A15 5G yesterday! I noticed that the battery level was going down in increments of 1% every six minutes just with texting! So, I plugged in my fast charging cable and the phone registered it was charging. But, it didn't charge! BRAND NEW PHONE! Not refurbished or renewed. NEW! I tried other cables I had hooked up to my other devices like my tablet and STILL this phone wouldn't charge! I tried restarting it. Nope. Blew air into the port. Nope. At 72% I decided to power it off. Didn't do anything and I woke up this morning and it was charged at 100%. What bothers me is that the phone gave me a screen message of "broken cable" when it was powered off and plugged in. Bad port? Bad software? I read someone found a fix by plugging it into their computer's USB 3.0 port to charge their phone. Is this what I have to do to charge my phone? Or have to power it off completely each time? Or should I just bag this phone up and return it?
