I bought the Samsung A35 5g brand new and am experiencing constant issues with Google Wallet. Samsung don't want to know. My bank has removed all tokenizations. Google Wallet are trying to get to the bottom of this. Opened a new bank account with a completely different bank, but getting the same issue. Never had this on previous Android devices! Personally, think Samsung Wallet has blocked Google Wallet. I will be getting rid of this piece of junk soon and going back to Honor.

If you're based in the US. I suggest reaching out to the Samsung US forum. You somehow reached the Uk forum. If you're still experiencing with google Wallet, then post it on the Google forums.

Hopefully can be resolved, sometimes customers do have issues with Google Wallet on Samsung Devices but generally it works well. Understand the frustration but really there is no basis for your claim that Samsung are potentially blocking it.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

NatWest and now Monzo too, to try to counteract the fact that it won't accept my original bank (which is on the list of acceptable banks, plus, I've had my NatWest card on Google Wallet on previous devices).

I'm in UK but have tried that too - 3 times. They said they couldn't help because I'm not in Singapore 😳

They've also suggested a complete factory reset. I've now done this twice and lost everything 😬 Still, Google Wallet will not accept my "acceptable" bank debit card. (Nor the card from a whole new account with a totally different bank). This is why I believe it's a Samsung issue and not Google nor my original bank.

BTW, thank you for your reply.

Thank you for your response. I continue to believe Samsung are somehow accountable.

All tokenizations have been removed by my bank. Therfore the issue is not with my bank. Google are looking into this further, therefore I am left to assume Samsung have something in place which is blocking or preventing my device from accessing Google payment methods or functionality. It's the only avenue of thought left.

It sounds to me like you're using your device "out of region" if I've read this correctly.

Device is a Singapore region locked device,

Your bank is in the US

You are in the UK.
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

No. I'm in UK and have not left UK for 5 years. I had found a WhatsApp service for Samsung users. Turned out it was only for people in Singapore.

My bank is in UK - NatWest.
I'm in UK.
I bought my phone in UK (recently).
I have not left UK.

But I might send this phone somewhere out of this world pretty soon... It's driving me crackers 😏
