Accidentally removed gak_ec_alias and gak_rsa_alias

Hi all was going though my phone and Accidentally removed gak_ec_alias and gak_rsa_alias, what was the purpose of these and how to reinstall if necessary phone is behaving normally.

If they are system files then you probably won't be able to.

I always get confused when someone says 'I accidentally removed some essential system files'. I mean the user either deleted them, or didn't.

I am not even sure how to remove these... even in the apps list and enabling 'system apps' these do not appear on a list.

I guess you realise you have manually deleted them from somewhere... no accidental about it.

Does the phone misbehave without these now ? It seems they are security certificates, and although i would consider myself as a fairly knowledgeable user, I wouldn't have a clue how to reinstall these. I would suggest going into the security settings, certificates, and see if there is any option to reinstate these.

Did you check your 'my files - recycle bin' to see if they are sitting there?

They were user certificate and I removed them in a panicked state anyway the phone is working fine with no issues

You may find that when a new update occurs... they will be reinstated.

Note that there will be a OneUI8 version coming soon in the next couple of months... so hopefully this adds your security certificates back.
