Hi. So basically, my A71 phone's microphone randomly stops working (any voice recording thing on the phone doesn't work and Calls too - I can't be heard and I can't hear them) and the only thing I can do it's a restart and it gets back to working. But after a while, or a random time, it stops again. It has been like this for like a month or two and it's getting SO annoying. Sometimes the phone freezes and it's like a "hey, your microphone crashed right now" *joke*(after it's starting to freeze the mic doesn't work. at all.). Please, please, please, I've done a:factory reset, changed sim slots (1 to 2 back and forth), restarted the WI-FI router, someone know what is this about?!

I also have A71 and from past 1 month this problem started. When I restart it works but now it's completely gone. Need to look solution from Samsung. Is this an another way from Samsung to outdated device from market. So people should buy new device after getting update from Samsung.

Hi guys,

If you haven't done so already, and are able, can anyone who's experiencing this send error reports with log files via the Members app?

As soon as the issue occurs (within 15 minutes is best):

Samsung Members > Support > Send Feedback > Error Reports > [select error type] > choose frequency of issue, and write an accurate and good description (and attach any screenshots/pictures/videos showing the issue if you want/are able to) > tick ‘Send system log data’ > Send (the > icon on the top right).

(Or: Long-press the Samsung Members icon on the Apps screen, and select 'Error reports' from the dropdown menu, and follow the steps from there.)

That will send that report and log files for the Samsung developers to analyse.

However, if a factory reset hasn't resolved the issue for anyone, like BandOfBrothers said above it may require a visit to a Samsung Support Centre for them to have a look at.

Same problem! I had to receive an urgent phone call for medical reasons and it was not possible to have a conversation. It happened 4 times in the last 5 months.

Hello there! It's me again. It's been half a year since I made my reply. I tried countless solutions and have contacted Samsung many times to no avail.

How did I fix the Issue? By buying a new phone.

I upgraded to the S23 since the A71 was very slow and buggy since Android 13. It's clear, Samsung does not care about non-flagship phones.

One way to fix the A71 problem would be rooting and using a custom OS, but thay breaks some things and is not the best solution. Since One UI 5 was the last supported version for the A71, I'm sorry to say that It's most likely not going to get fixed. Sorry 😞

I wish you the best of luck in the future!

Same issue, only solution is to restart again and again... When open internet except WhatsApp, every app that open mic once, stop working mic till next restart
