A51 does not sound when it reaches alarm

My wife has an A51 Galaxy and has been having trouble with  the alarm. 

I have  tried everything (alarm volume, clear cache, restart) 

I compared all of her settings against my S20 FE and I don't see any issue.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I would really like to get this to work. Frustrating! to say the least.

Sorry to hear of your wife's issues with the alarm sounds.

Just to check....

Open Samsung Clock App
Select the alarm
Select the ringtone
Is the volume slider set to zero?

If your wife has multiple alarms, there is also a setting here to set all the alarms volumes the same or independent.

Thank you for responding Piper123.

When I open the Clock app and select Alarm, I am not given a Ringtone option.

If  I open the Clock App can then select from the 3 dots above (the burger) I am given Set Sleep mode Schedule, edit, sort and Settings.

If I go to Settings, I can see Alarm, World Clock, Timer (which is set to ON), Vibration, Show Mini Timer, and Privacy.

If I select SOUND from that page I go to a listing of sounds and I see a slider that is at three quarters (3/4) filled.

She has Fun House selected and the volume slider is about 70%.

What do you think?

I have tried about everything I have seen in the posts on the forum. Still the same.

I compared all of the settings with my S20 FE and all is good.
