A51 Bluetooth issues

Hello,

I've always enjoyed my Samsung smart phones, but not my new A51. I have a serious problem with bluetooth. Bluetooth connection keeps disconnecting and/or stuttering. I have a feeling its software is buggy. Has anyone faced this issue and if yes, do you know of a solution? I have updated the software to the latest version.

** Further updates (4-Feb-2020): today while playing an audio book on my bluetooth headset (Samsugn Level U), voice disappeared and I could only hear noise; I had to restart the phone to resolve the issue (back to Windows 98 theme); I hope Samsung can resolve this asap. It is a serious issue.

** Update (10-Feb-2020): i have just installed the update A515FXXU2ATA8/A515FOJM2ATB1/A515FXXU2ATA8 size: 351.39 MB (dated: Feb 1, 2020). will start testing and provide updates in a few days. 

** Update (14-Feb-2020): after a few days of testing, I can confirm the Bluetooth issues no longer exist. I have been playing Bluetooth audio and no disconnections or stuttering occurs.

got a new A51 last week, and got these BT issues also. Tried removing the case as you said and the music played perfectly, however as soon as I put the phone back into the case, the BT issues came back. Thanks for the heads up, I'm going to pursue Samnsung now for a refund.

I wish I'd done the same! 6 months in and I'm no further forward with them. its like they don't want to acknowledge there's even an issue. really regret getting this model, good luck tho!

I got my A51 a few days ago and have been having BT problems (I use Powerbeats Pro). Have also found that removing the case is the only way to fix the problem 😔 wish I had found this forum before I purchased it!

Hi all. Same probleme here with my New Samsung A51 with Airpods 1, i have bluetooth lag on YouTube and Spotify with my Airpods 1. I have tried to modify Codec in developpers option and Avrcp version but nothing change. I am on the 01/10/2020 security update and i have the baseband version A515FXXU4CTJ1. Can you help me please ?

Same issues for me, buyed the A51 two weeks ago under android 11 A515FXXU4DUB2

One option is to reset the connections parameters then go to battery optimization and set your music application and Bluetooth to non optimized

This seems to work at 95% still have some cut off but nothing compared to previous situation

I have also set on the option separate sound application and add samsung music with Bluetooth device

Since my last post i have removed Bluetooth from the list of non optimized applications and seems to work anyway

So the first thing to do is to reset the connexions parameters reboot the phone and pair again

In dev options i use AVRCP 1.6 and codec SBC
