Hello,
I've always enjoyed my Samsung smart phones, but not my new A51. I have a serious problem with bluetooth. Bluetooth connection keeps disconnecting and/or stuttering. I have a feeling its software is buggy. Has anyone faced this issue and if yes, do you know of a solution? I have updated the software to the latest version.
** Further updates (4-Feb-2020): today while playing an audio book on my bluetooth headset (Samsugn Level U), voice disappeared and I could only hear noise; I had to restart the phone to resolve the issue (back to Windows 98 theme); I hope Samsung can resolve this asap. It is a serious issue.
** Update (10-Feb-2020): i have just installed the update A515FXXU2ATA8/A515FOJM2ATB1/A515FXXU2ATA8 size: 351.39 MB (dated: Feb 1, 2020). will start testing and provide updates in a few days.
** Update (14-Feb-2020): after a few days of testing, I can confirm the Bluetooth issues no longer exist. I have been playing Bluetooth audio and no disconnections or stuttering occurs.
Thanks,
Yosuef

I tried and it works for about 3 mins without interruption but after that the same old problem comes back, very annoying!
Btw, can you advise where and how to clear cache on Bluetooth specifically? I don't seem to find a place to perform this function. Thx

Hello,
I have had the same Bluetooth stuttering issue. I have tried battery optimization and sleeping apps and it did nothing. However, I have turned Location off and it has sorted it. Annoying fault but I don't need location most of the time. I've also noticed that with Location off and WiFi on get very occasional stuttering. So best to have Location and WiFi off.
Hopefully Samsung will fix the interference with Location and WiFi.

Hello,
I live in Greece , my phone has the SL6 firmwire and I have the same bluetooth problem.
In the begining I reset the whole phone , cleared the cache and started the phone from 0, no efect on the problem.
Today I tried the above but after reseting the bluetooth and network settings and clearing the cache all I can say is that the problem seems to be even worse, I know it does not make any sense.
Also turning location off or on has no effect.
Only turning wifi off seems to work but then I cannot stream any online music!
I just cannot use this phone, a new 400€ phone!!!, with a bluetooth speaker, which is the simplest thing.
I am following this thread from day one and I realy cannot believe that Samsung has not fix it yet.
Samsung, wake up! It is a known problem, everyone has it, everyone is talking about it , we threw our money on this phone, fix it!

Flashing the prevoious firmware could resolve your issue until the fix is released.

Pity some folk having Bluetooth issues on the A51 , certainly though clearing the cache and resetting as @RonnyB described should help.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
