A5 2017 charger way up

Silly question but which way up does the charger go the plain side or the side that's lined ?

Hi @Linz1978 .   Are you talking about the connecting bit that goes in the phone? If so, the A5 2017 and the charging/data cable have a USB type-C connection, so the cable should work whichever way up.

Thanks mine's only working one way and badly at that must be the actual phone port

Are you using the cable that came with the phone, @Linz1978? Are you able to try another compatible charger with the phone to see if the issue persists?
