I would like to move the torch button from the drop down to the home page on my Galaxy A40, having to go back and forth is a pain!

As far as I know you can't add this option to the home screen without 3rd party apps. However "Flashlight Widget" in the Play Store seems to be just what you are looking for. It adds a 1x1 widget to the home screen that toggles the torch with a single touch.

Thanks for the replies, I had tried to copy the torch app across to the home screen but failed, I had read that many torch apps have unwanted extras, I will continue as is for the time being.
