A32 is stuck on 'Phone is restarting...'

Sometimes when I charge my phone during the night, it will restart itself. Everytime it was okay, I unlocked it in the morning and it worked like normal. But yesterday, I put it to charge in the evening, and when I tried unlocking it in the morning, it was stuck on the 'Phone ist restarting' . I can still access settings tho, because of the top menu.

After I restarted it again and unlocked it, there is a black screen for a couple of seconds, time goes to 0.00 for a few seconds, and everything goes back to the 'phone ist starting'

Does anyone know how to fix it? I really dont want to lose the images and everything on it.

Hi! Welcome to the samsung members community!

Try a soft reboot
simultaneously press and hold the power button and the volume down button until the screen turns off, then let go and wait for the phone to restart.

Hello 👋 @lizz4

I can understand how annoying this must be.

Try these troubleshooting steps >

  • 1. First turn the phone Off and On i.e a Soft Reboot, but if that does not help then follow this by trying a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.
  • 2. Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port or a usb-c to usb-c phone to phone set up to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
  • 3. Https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/
  • 4. Factory reset after backing up but then don't use the back up i.e set the phone back up manually.
  • 5. Let a Samsung Service Centre have hands on if necessary.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎
