Getting multiple notification for some apps

I have this problem too

This started happening very recently and it's jarring. 

When I make a payment and I get the usual notification from the bank, in 5 or 10 minutes I get the same notification again and again and again. The same thing with WhatsApp, same thing with many apps on my phone. 
It's so annoying and I can't find any recent solutions that work. 
Its a galaxy a23.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community.

Firstly, I would try clearing the app's cache. Go to Settings > Apps > the app it is happening on > Storage > Clear cache.

If this continues, submit feedback via Samsung Members > Support > Feedback.

THE SOLUTION is to go into the main app folder (not the Secure Folder) and uninstall the app. You will be left with only one copy of the app in the Secure Folder"

Make sure you haven't accidentally turned this on in Settings > Notifications.

I don't think I have that option at all. I updated my software very recently, maybe 3 days ago

Thank you. I don't have these apps in the secure folder though? I only have them in the main app folders

Yes, I cleared the cache on WhatsApp, my bank app and Google wallet. But since then I glt 2 more notifications on Google wallet for a payment I made earlier today. And it also started happening for this app as well ☹️1742656215879.jpg

Did you use smart switch for apps?

Maybe try going to settings- apps- the app- uninstall. Reinstall..
