Why has my A12 suddenly started to lose connectivity continually inside my own house, causing untold mobile datavusage when every other device including work laptop maintained contact? Any ideas other than ***** phone?

May I ask a few questions please........

What's the connectivity like outside your house when your travelling / commuting etc @badvalhalladay  ?

Is the issue data connection only related or signal too ?

Can you as a process of elimination try your sim card in another phone ?

And if possible another sim card in your phone.

There is a reset option in your phones General Management section to reset connection settings.

There is also a diagnostic tool in the Samsung Members app.

If I'm at work phone remains connected to work WiFi as far as I'm aware but it tends to staybunused artwork anyway so not much help. Signal for calls etc is generally good, I don't have alternate sim/phone to try this with. If I'm working from home which I have been for 2 months which is how I discovered the issue, my laptop has no problem with connectivity. Problem first noticed because following an injury I was confined to one room and watching live TV through my phone. I would occasionally get banner messages saying connection restored, I assumed this was on more than off, turned out to be the other way as I got a message saying mobile data limit reached when I hadn't left the property in 2 months, my data usage had soared exponentially when I should have been connected safely at home. I have reset the phone back to factory settings but it still constantly severs or loses connection.
