No Simcard Signal Bug

I've been noticing this for a while now and it's still not been fixed when you remove the simcard in the phone on the s20 ultra the signal bars would still display but how can there be signal bars without a simcard? 🤔

that's normal and been this way for about a decade or more. it shows the cell coverage from any available carrier in case for emergencies like 999

Thanks for that only just noticed this haven't really seen it with other phone manufacturers.

As @coyotemayonnaise has already mentioned (Thank you!) the signal bars remain visible even after removing the SIM card from the slot to report that there is still cell coverage available, and that it can be accessed in case of emergencies 😊.
