Unfortunately you are correct.
It's kind of bittersweet for most people but that's the price (no pun) that you pay for testing beta software.

You can use the Smart Switch to downgrade to the previous version of Android. But please be aware, that when an official version is released, Google Pay will no longer be a problem and it will work as it usually does 😊
