Unfortunately, due to the nature of the beta software, Google will not certify it, which results in Google Pay not working (and some banking apps too). This has always been a case during beta tests, but once an official Android 11 with One UI 3 has been released, this will no longer be a problem and the software will be certified again.
As for the high battery drain, it might take some time, after a major update, for a device to "settle down" and adjust again. However, if even after a few days you still notice a high drain of your battery, then please make sure to share an Error Report with our developers via Samsung Members app (and remember to attach the log files).
There usually are some processes or apps that did not close properly after an update and might be affecting the battery life. With log files our development team can take a look at that and let you know if there are any processes that drain more battery than they should or if they find a fault in the binary, then they might fix it in the next release.
