Battery Drain

Got battery drain issue, and unable to access recovery to clear Dalvik cache (as advised by some to do following major OS update). The mentioned update not showing for me. Any advice appreciated.

Not sure if you noticed. They have left beta testers hang on to dry.....
Seems like we will receive final release sometime soon....

when I'm in the cold, my phone dies. if I'm outside in winter my phones battery goes down so quickly. i was outside one day and my phone was 48% and it just died instantly.

To access recovery connect to a PC.

Yesterday you should have received the third Beta update (ZTLJ). Please, check if the update is available for you 😊.

Below you can find path to access the Recovery mode to do the cache partition:

1. Turn off your device
2. Connect your device to the PC via USB (not to the charger)
3. Wait until the message that the device is being charged appears
4. Press and hold down the volume up and then power buttons and hold them untlil the device turns on
5. Recovery menu should appear
6. from there select "Wipe cache partition" (you can navigate using volume up/down buttons and confirm with a power button). 

If the battery drain issue persists, please report it via the Members app.

Received and applied today. Now have visibility of battery usage, not sure if battery drain was related.
