Banking Apps

Really disappointed with ui 4 beta version. Banking apps e.g. Natwest, Nationwide, Tesco etc crashes and doesn't work/open with Beta version.

Had AODnotify, that crashed my N20 ultra every 10 mins, so had to delete it, also Facebook tends to freeze the phone every so often too

Banking apps usually don't like Beta ROM's. The necessary security certificates aren't installed until the ROM gets to general release stage - at least that's my experience.

Unfortunately, it's the trade off for Beta testing the new UI and Android 12. Google Pay will NOT work until the official version appears (and you may need to reload the official OS over the Beta version to ensure everything updates).

This is happening to me now with google pay. Had i known i wouldnt have upgraded. When is it typical that this will work again? Time line wise?

Why are you people so shocked it always say beta are not stable and banking and pay won't work NOT SUITABLE for daily driver its a beta for testing

It is possible that some third-party apps will not fully work during the Beta due to compatibility problems.

Anyway, you can try to clear cache of the affected apps (or reinstall them if necessary). Also check if any application updates are available.

If the situation won't improve, please report the issues via the Samsung Members application so that our developers can have a look into them 😉.

I could get it working after factory reset. Maybe try backing up your data and factory reset to see whether that works

Have no problem with using banking apps.

Fingerprint recognition is not working on any Apps for me since beta update 1 & 2
