WhatsApp Tablet Layout slow to transition to split view

When using WhatsApp in the inner folding screen, the app starts with showing the list of chats.  When tapping on one of the conversation there is a delay, it seems to pause for a second or two then it transition to spilt veiw where the list of conversation is on the left and chat view is on the right.

I use a few other messaging apps which supports the split view and they transition instantly. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hello @Tehki8, mine is slow to open the first chat only. It's fine after that (in inner screen).

Yes this is the same experience for me, my comments is relating to the initial view before the split view. While it's not a bug issue, it's more of a user experience point of view. Other message apps transition instantly to split view.

I fully understand that slow application performance can affect the user experience. 😓 This sort of issue can be reported as an error in Samsung Members app > Error report. Including the logs will help the developers to take a better look at the problem. 🙂
