Videos coming out jaggerd full of lines when sent on WhatsApp

When sending videos saved from Google photos or even a screen record on WhatsApp they come out jaggerd full of colours and lines

Hi @muddzy. Can you provide an example of this please? Some pictures and videos can be compressed to save on storage file when shared through various platforms but this sounds like it could be a different issue.

I get this to. When recorded from within what's app. Seem ok. But when sending a video which is recorded via the camera app. Via what's app. Full of lines. Person recieving is on iOS.

You can try to clear cache of the WhatsApp (even reinstall it if necessary).  Also check if any application updates are available.

If the situation won't improve, please report this issue via the Samsung Members application so that our developers can have a look into it 😉.

Another example with green bar. Video looks fine when recording. When you send in the preview window it looks fine. But when sent this happens. Only since Android 12 have I had this.

This is exactly what mine looks like but only when i use the default screen recorder it looks exactly like this picture but normal videos and i tried and screen recorder app from play store and that was fine

Hi, getting the green bar issue too on videos shared via Whatsapp. Have cleared cache and rebooted, but still happens. In addition, latest video shared via WhatsApp had no sound.
