Lost Contact Alphabet When Scrolling Down List

First time I've noticed it today. When I scroll down my list of Contacts the A to Z alphabetical listing on the right of the screen has been replaced by dots. S21 Ultra 5G.

I think I may have picked up a change in design, not an issue. As I scroll down the right hand side, there is a large alphabetical icon displayed as you move from one name to another. For example, as I scroll to D, a large circle icon with containing D appears. This changes to other letters as I move up/and or down the list.

How do we return to the old display where it shows the A-Z? When you have a lot of contacts and want N, for example, I have to guess where the N would be, as it is just small dots now, not the A-Z. Thank you
