Unable to transfer files to my PC via USB

As the title suggests, I'm not able to transfer any files or pictures etc to my PC, I've tried 3 different cables now, anyone else experiencing this issue.

Get Dropbox.. use your pc to create the account..... then there will be a QR code onscreen, scan it with your phone and follow the instructions.

Hi,

 

This usually happens when you connect your phone to a PC/laptop and select charing, instead of data transfer for the USB connection.

I tried that, went through all the options, midi, charge only, file transfer etc, still doesn't work.

I have one drive by the way, that's the only way I can share Picts I take with my phone at the moment, upload to one drive, download into my PC.

Hi @GooseSnipe have you tried setting a default via Developer Options? Developer Options-Default USB Configuration.
If Developer options not set up Go to Settings-About Phone and tap Build Number 7 times. Will need to enter password ,Pin or Pattern at this point. See more details here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-turn-on-the-developer-options-menu-on-my-....
