Please, clear cache of the Play Store app and then reboot your phone.
If the situation won't improve, report this issue via the Samsung Members application so that our developers can have a look into it 😉.

Clearing the cache and data of the Play store does not resolve this issue for me. I have tried multiple times.
I raised my error report the day before my original post.
Does anybody have any other steps which have worked?
