System storage

Anyway to clear the system storage down ...mine is 50gb and I can't find a way to clear it ?

Press the i icon on apps and give persmissions. That 50gb is used by your apps.

Can't really clear system storage or you won't be able to use your phone!

Granting permissions revealed that 35GB was just System files alone! That's bigger than core Windows... Samsung needs to optimize this

Have a look at 1TapCleaner. It will allow you to clean cache that has built up within apps. I've used it without issue for nearly 2 years on different devices.
Also, Cx File Explorer - let's you see file system and to delete things like WhatsApp backups that build up. It also has a cache cleaner too.
