Simple Mode.

I have for years used my phones in simple mode.

If you don't know what that is I will explain. 

It is everything bigger. 

I find the new UI simple mode better and clearer. I can now see my battery percentage clearer and the icons etc in the swipe down from right menu is nice and easy. 

And the swipe down for notifications is again easy to read. 

I appreciate this is a feature for the older people who have to either squint or put on their reading glasses. But I thank the developers for improving this.

I said older not elderly😂.
It is also a requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
This is also useful for anybody visually impaired.
I have a lot of young friends who I have shown this. And they have changed their phones to simple mode and said it is just easier to use. With less time wasted clicking on the wrong app.
