I have been very patient and supporting of the beta on my S24 ultra so far but with such a long wait it does feel time for you to give some direct answers as to when we are going to get final and more importantly what is holding thing up as you obviously have the resource with beta being added to more devices

After reports you are opening up the beta to flip, older devices S23 and even A series phones it does feel to me you should be concentrating more on people who purchased last year's flagship devices - anyone else agree? Your thoughts if you fancy 😀

Realise some Members are frustrated but the S24 series will be first in line for the official update, official release states it will start rolling out at some point in April.  can only be released when truly optimised for the device.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

The fact that were still in a beta with a lot of issues and design choices that need fixing and changing, while Google is already beta testing Android 16 is crazy, Samsung have flopped so hard this version and this phone

Absolutely massive flop.

I'm not software engineer or programmer but this is what they are paid to do. When our competitors in the market are way ahead it looks abysmal.

Was explaining this to friends. It's not the fact that it's beta, I signed up for it and knew what was involved. It's the fact samsung can't keep up.

A lot of people (not all) will buy the Ultra to get the latest and greatest possible. Also understanding we will be slightly behind pixel in terms of major version releases, but not a year behind.

Yes we are on the 4th beta and I believe Google is on the 1st beta, but as an end user it doesn't really matter what beta version it is when it's a whole Android version behind.

Evening UnixM. Is this unique to the Samsung UK based customer, or a Samsung global issue? Given it's a multi billion pound business one would think that sufficient investment would be made to keep their products state of the art, in terms of OS and functionality. Your post gives a different insight into the Samsung business model and end user experience.

Hello @Damo2024,

There are no specific dates as it highly depends on the number of bugs found in the software and how long it takes to eliminate them as well as implement new improvements But I can assure you that the developers are working hard to bring the newest update as fast as possible!

Have a good day!
