What's going on with Samsung copying Apple in almost everything. With every update it looks more and more like IOS.

What happened to Samsung having its own identity

The two OS don't look copied at all. Samsung may have taken some inspiration cues but can clearly see they have their own fusion from both IOS and other Android Software.

There is only so much you can do to be different in all honesty. It's how the phones function and their hardware that ser them apart

To be honest I prefer the new layout and I know everyone has been requesting a more functional control panel, moving away from the pages and pages of toggles. I actually wish they would take more from IOS in the regard as it allows a lot more flexibility and control.

I think it's pure android. Pixels have had a similar app drawer for a while now.

I'm glad I found your thread. My phone just updated this morning and it looks terrible. I HATE it all. If I wanted a f iPhone, I would have gotten one. Everything is rounded now, all the icons and windows... I even deleted the clock from my home screen because I couldn't look at it anymore. The notification panel no longer works the same neither. I must slide on the left for the notifications, and on the right side for the quick settings panel. Guess which company does that on their phones... Uhg. I know I will get used eventually, but seriously. What are the developers thinking??? Oh my Goooood
