Hello @Haytch,
Thanks for your feedback! Nevertheless, I hope you will enjoy using One UI 7 😊
Have a good day!

I'm glad I found your thread. My phone just updated this morning and it looks terrible. I HATE it all. If I wanted a f iPhone, I would have gotten one. Everything is rounded now, all the icons and windows... I even deleted the clock from my home screen because I couldn't look at it anymore. The notification panel no longer works the same neither. I must slide on the left for the notifications, and on the right side for the quick settings panel. Guess which company does that on their phones... Uhg. I know I will get used eventually, but seriously. What are the developers thinking??? Oh my Goooood

So this morning my i was forced to upgrade to the new O.S. and usually I resist the upgrades on my S series ultra phone. Bc change can be annoying
As a 16 year loyal Android Samsung user. I've owned every model since the beginning of the Ultra. My biggest gripe? They took memory card slot out. I survived. I had the very first curved watch and now have the newest on my wrist. I also have the new black matte ring on my index finger. You can't get more loyal Samsung than me. My wife and kids also had them I refused to get them iphones on my Tmobile acct. But half switched when they got their own acct.
Now thos morning after the new upgrade!! My phone acts and looks exactly as an iphone. As I said, change is a minor issue. Im up for it, so long as their is genuine improvement and function. But im officially at bestbuy and later going to Tmobile to look at Google phones and other Android phones.
the ridiculously non stop pursuit by Samsung to bring in the iPhone users, is possibly effective marketing? But what a out us loyal andoid and more specifically Samsung customers?
I've spent 10's of thousands on buying and investing in Samsung latest and greatest. But all good things come to an end, it seems.
Samsung in yout pursuit of iPhone customers, you completely jumped the shark on cell phones. It's as though you gave up on the competition. You raised the white flag. You are essentially showing Apple, you concede defeat. Yet you have the superior screen, battery, camera, technology and pretty much everything. But you still chose to make our beloved phone look, function and behave like am iPhone.
So I must bid you farewell. I refuse to attempt to learn this new O.S. upgrade that looks and feels like iphone.
Why not at least give us a choice? Allow us to keep my previous OS as I was super happy with.
You force us to upgrade and if we delay it it only pops up more often and will annoy us to no end.
I speak for myself and most likely represent many many others. In a chat group with colleagues, friends and family we are all referring to this as SAMSUNG'S Iphone Upgrade.
Reviews are mixed but almost all agree you are turning these phones into iphones. WHAT ARE YOU 🤔 THINKNG KOREA!?
WE don't want Iphones. We chose Android, we chose Samsung and habe loved the products. Yet your pursuit of iphone customers, it will have a fallout with non iphone users. I feel as if though you accepted defeat and iphone is better. So why not switch to Apple everything? Watch, tablet, laptop and cell. Do a clean swap to Apple since Samsung has shown us, their superior product want to have a trancellular change and identify as an iphone!?
If you want to look like an iphone? Quack like an iphone? And behave like an iphone... so be it. You're an iphone and so why should I invest further in the transphone? Might as well do the full conversion and have the full operation to convert myself to an Apple IPhone customer.
Your guys in marketing, and customer satisfaction really screwed up on this. Bad bad 👎 choice. Let's see how it plays out. But as for me? I'm either investing in a different Android based cell Co. Or if you're all headed to mimick iphone. I'll just convert everything to Apple then. It was a great 16+ year run of being the different non conforming phones user. And alas, the proverbial fight is over. Apple Iphone wins. 🍎
