One ui 8 stable just released 🥳🥳🥳
So, y'all on beta? You can now update to the official version
Used it for the day and everything is welll animated apart from how apps close now - its way too quick imo, kinda like ios26. i rly dont personally like when apps close super quick, which is y i used good lock to change them, buuut they still look iffy

As always... Whenever I get a new UI update I always clear cache partition. Helps clear all unwanted bits in the background whether it genuinely helps or not I don't know but told to do it so always have

Yes it is beneficial. Clearing the system cache removes remnants of upgrade files, swap files used during the upgrade, and general system trash within the garbage collection that builds up. Often clears up minor niggles too from conflicts in updates.

Hi @SlimFan,

Great to hear you're already exploring the stable One UI 8! 🥳 Thanks for sharing your initial impressions.

You're right — the new app closing animation is noticeably quicker, and we’ve seen similar feedback from others in the community. If you’re using Good Lock to tweak animations but still find it a bit off, feel free to share the exact module/settings you're using via Samsung Members so the developers can take a closer look :hand-with-index-and-middle-fingers-crossed:.
