Not working! IN Android 15(ONE UI 7.0) apps with fingerprint lock are gone now. Seems like they removed it on One UI 8.0. Every app is asking now to enter password.

IS IT INTENTIONAL ?? Are you also facing the same issue ?

I haven't experienced this issue, are you on OneUI 8 Beta or OneUI 7?

I am a little confused, Unless Android 16 was a typo.

OneUI 8.0. I've issue with each individual app in secure folder, fingerprint lock was enabled during 7.0 but in 8.0 beta each app is requesting password to enter

Fingerprints were changed in one ui 8. You now have separate fingerprint storage for the normal phone and for the secure folder.

Meaning go into secure folder settings and set new fingerprints

Hello @kkreddy,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! Please also share an error report via the Samsung Members app for investigation.

Have a good day! ☀️

As well as adding your fingerprints to access the phone you need to add your fingerprints to access the secure folder.
Once you done that you can use fingerprint access on your apps once again.
I had this problem and highlighted that it is not made very clear in the instructions.

Seems that The fingerprint info for the secure folder is now stored inside the secure folder itself. So, different "fingerprints" than outside of secure folder. You have to register new fingerprints inside the secure folder for apps to be able to use it
