Contactless payment doesnt work

UI 6.0 beta.

When start Google wallet app then popup widndow appear that my device is not certified for mobile contactless payment.

This is normal, Google has to certify firmware and this means that beta operating systems do not have Google Wallet support. If this is a concern, you'll need to rollback to Android 13/One UI 5.1.

Every beta and we get the same messages about Google wallet not working. It tells you on the beta notes before you install as well.

I only started using Google wallet. Worked fine on my watch but now it just tells me to check my phone but nothing is shown. I wasn't aware of the linkage between watch nfc and phone.

It's kind of a basic need and pretty sure it limits how many folks sign up to the beta. They really ought to be having a conversation with Google given its in everyone's interest to make sure wallet works fine.

What happens tho? It goes full live and then people test wallet - seems a bizarre risk given how entangled payments are to everyday living lol

You can use Samsung Wallet in the meantime.
