Just wanted to let you all know, i had a issue with my incoming calls diplaying private number, what i did was to put a o2 physical sim in and problem solved all contacts are now displayed, my original smarty sim has been transferred to esim but still has the issue it's a way of getting around the issue.

If you using esim, under beta testing, very often need to go to sim-s and updating it. Like every 2 days

I have the same problem. Smarty too since the update all i get is private numver on my esim though a second esim is absolutely fine. Ive tried everything possible and changed the esim too. Still the same. All works fine on a secondary Pixel phone.This is software issue.

I believe there are a great many others reporting this issue, which only affects eSims. I am very keen to have this resolved as I already have an physical Sim in my phone so I have to use an eSim for the second line.

@John86

Thanks for sharing your experience — that workaround may be helpful for others facing similar caller ID issues.

It sounds like the issue may be related to carrier provisioning on the original SIM/eSIM setup, since switching to a physical O2 SIM resolves the caller ID display correctly. This points more towards a network or SIM configuration issue rather than a device/software fault.

If anyone else is affected, it may be worth contacting their carrier to re-provision caller ID services or testing with a different SIM to confirm the cause :hand-with-index-and-middle-fingers-crossed:.

But if the same ID mobile SIM card is put to the other phone model, it works as usual. SIM card fault or S26 software?

I totally agree, I've stated all along that it's a software issue.
