Windows security updates not installing

Win 8.1 security update is failing to install.

This is not a Samsung problem as it's occurring on many different machines.

However, that doesn't solve the problem.

As I said this is longstanding problem. I did reinstall windows 8.1.
After a lot of bother setting up etc. It still had the problem.
According to Microsoft it was a Samsung problem, but I didn't get anywhere with them. I did look at windows 10 and didn't like it.
I'll put up with it and one day may have to replace my machine.

What about trying Linux Mint or Zorin OS? You can try them before committing to an install from the bootable media to see if you can get on with them
