Hie everyone
thank you in advance for helping
I have a Samsung book three ultra with a RTX 4050 that just stopped booting properly after a hard reset. I reset it completely and tried installing a news windows all-together. After l did that it loads windows properly and it installs properly as well.
but the issue begins when you start updating the computer. After it updates a few things then it just starts randomly switching off until it gets stuck in a boot loop that ends on the password screen. at first l thought it was the Bluetooth driver but even without the Bluetooth driver it just does it regardless.
after it starts doing that it then starts another loop whereby if you start it around 3 -4 times it will completely not switch on if you press the power button until you put an external power source on either of the charging ports.
and if you uninstall windows and repeat with another windows : let’s say windows 10 it still does the same thing.
but while it’s doing all that, if you boot it in safe mode it boots up properly and doesn’t even switch off abruptly at all.
please assist if you can. @Veennful and anyone who can help

Did you have any Windows 11 updates if so likely this issue - Warning Windows 11 25H2 - Samsung Issue - Samsung Community
Why did you hard reset ?
Sounds like you have messed it up and probably need to rebuild, hopefully your data was cloud back up.

I just went to settings and did a hard reset from there where no information was saved or anything. I had bought it second hand recently and the Bluetooth wasn’t working at all at the time. So l just decided to format everything and just start afresh on a somewhat “new laptop ” and that’s when it started these issues.
When l first started experiencing it, it was somewhat related to that Bluetooth driver. But after repeated installation of windows and actually uninstalling it completely from the device manager (the Bluetooth device and drives) l noticed that it’s not the Bluetooth drivers.
I spoke to a Samsung rep on WhatsApp on their official number and they suggested that their laptops may be having those troubles regarding Bluetooth and the new windows update and that was around the time l was thinking it’s a Bluetooth driver problem. But l even formatted the ssd completely again and put in windows 10 to try and avoid the news windows 11 update. But the moment you start downloading drivers for literally anything and everything . It starts repeating that loop then eventually shuts down until you plug in an external source then it switches on and does the same thing.
even if you take another SSD from a fully functioning laptop/PC it works from a short while, then when you start updates drives and everything, it just starts again with the same loop.

Regarding the link you shared. Thank you but l don’t think that may be the problem. I’ve tried using the Samsung apps for updating the drives then on other instances I’ve been trying other applications and other drivers like the Microsoft ones and ones from this other application called driver booster. But there seems to be no luck.
although, if it is the problem. How do l resolve it ?
Because the thing that gets me stuck is, before you start updating. Everything runs perfectly and it doesn’t switch off or anything. And even in safe mode it runs smoothly. The moment you go back to the normal windows and start the updates, it starts switching off in that loop .

Sorry my friend but for this you need some professional help, not 3rd hand community guidance.
Still do not understand why you forced a hard reset.
You could try Samsung but likely you device is well out of warranty.

It’s alright. Thank you so much for the responses.
definitely I’m going to need help. It’s just that the country I’m in right now doesn’t have a Samsung facility that can assist me so that’s why l turned to the forum 😅. And l tried some other technicians and they can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong as well. They even checked on the hardware on a microscope and tested some components and did not find anything amiss.
so as l am waiting for December to arrive and go to SA l was just trying my luck . Otherwise I’m hoping Samsung has a facility there that does repairs.

Understand, i would do the same, but like many Windows repair threads, doing it 3rd hand without the skills, will probably cause more problems.
I would just stick with any reputable walk in repair, if data on the device is not an issue, just get them the clean install, or get it out of the bootloop.
