Views on the Galaxy Book5 Pro vs Book2 Pro i7

Hello, wondering if anyone has stepped from a Book2 Pro, I love the Book2 Pro so much I have two !!!

The reason I did not upgrade beyond my Book2Pro i7 is the weight and slim profile; all the newer books are heavy.

However, at the recent SMS Paris trip we had a few mini missions to do, one using the Book5 Pro and its AI functions, but later talking to @-Robot- we both agreed the Book5 Pro was blurring the mobile to laptop boundaries.

This is something I assumed Samsung had given up on as Microsoft 11 android apps never really went through, but on the Book5 Pro all the Samsung apps were a lot more polished and seamless.

Book5 Pro really made me re-thing not having a tablet. I felt it was light and slim and really responsive.

Nah its double the weight, the Book2 Pro is impossibly thin and light, oh and I don't want the 360 version 😮

Not book 5, but my book 4's edge is incredible—scary light. A little heavier compared to book 2, but still only 1.16 kg.

Yes i like the 4 Edge, what are your thoughts on the Samsung mobile apps (Gallery, AI, Smartthings, etc...) are they more polished, as my Book2 gallery is a disaster, Smartthings is good, no AI ...

I've not noticed any issues with them; I only have my monitor connected via SmartThings, alongside my laptop (obviously) and phone.

The AI is simply the copilot, and that's great. You can't readily do much else besides some camera effects (eye focus) and drawing with the AI, which, to be fair, work great. The gallery works as it should.

Is there anything specific I can test that you have issues with?

It is more than the execution is poor,  what was touted was mobile app like experience some examples.

- Auto switch Buds Connection never works, it's always a manual effort

- Quick Share, always requires a manual intervention from my mobile

- Smartthings is very basic on/off device control, I assumed it would be like the mobile app

- Notes lacks the mobile app functionality

- Gallery is a disater, never sync's, have to sign out and back in, gave up and using MS Photos

- auto switch has always works flawlessly
-smart share is a bit if a hassle- as in it doesnt seem to download the document/file and I have to faff with it
- ill double check the Smart things app
- notes works exactly as it does on my phone
- gallery is perfect
